question Interior lights dome lights

I want my dome lights to stay on after I lock the truck but go off after I start the truck or off after a chosen time...is this possible. My dilemma I leave work a lot after 10:00 pm at night and must traverse some seedy areas to my Truck. When I get in my Truck I immedialty lock it and look around in the cab. Yes I have pills for my affliction LOL. If I lock the Truck the lights go out and I cannot see inside truck or see the key hole. Any mod suggestions would be appreciated.

I've been in and driven many cars that keep the dome lights on till you start the car. I guess your post is like 700billion dollars to big business

First off, you have a 2004 Titan... Many of the features and such have changed since then. Don't know what trim level you have, but the interior lighting and exterior lighting timing are adjustable on my '06 LE. Maybe it's just the headlights and how long they stay on after locking it, I'd have to check the manual when I get home... I also have the NAV w/ full onboard computer so the settings are easier for me to access than non-NAV equiped trucks. Check your manual to see if the light timing can be altered.
