Re: Gum on carpet

I wouldn't use peanut butter because then it needs to be cleaned off with something else. I've used WD-40 to get it out then cleaned the WD-40 out with Dawn dish soap. You might also try Goo-Gone.

Re: Gum on carpet

Freeze spray is supposed to work well too. It freezes the gum solid and then it just breaks apart like its solid.

Re: Gum on carpet

Freeze it then it should come right off. Or you can use a razor blade to cut it free.

Re: Gum on carpet

Get a cheap can of compressed air. Turn the can upside down, and spray the gum. It will freeze the gum, and you can break it up and pick it out easily.

Re: Gum on carpet

Ice it down or freeeze it, then pick it off. Use goof oof (test for color fastness first) to get any remaining.
