Are the AC vents junk?

When I got my used Titan 3 of the A/C louvered vents on the dash had borken louvers. Is this common or did the previous owner keep breaking them every time he wanted to stash his weed?

I haven't had this problem with my Titan. Some people seem to be very hard on the interior of their vehicles. I used to have a 99 Tahoe, now you talk about POS vents, it had 'em

No problems with my vents. I think the previous owner was a POS.

i have the same problem with mine the last owner broke the vent to the left of the driver.... i broke the one in the right..

I bought my 04 used and the passenger side vent was broken. I had always wondered how someone could break one of those...hopefully the other ones dont break too easy.

The pivots for each louver are very thin and break off easily. Poor design on Nissan's part. I was going to fix them buy drilling into each louver and installing some drill rod as a new pin.

While I had it at the dealership for a bigger concern they ordered 4 new vents under warranty.
