I did not want to say it but, its a Federal offense to have them on and not be licensed (careful Rybo) . If they have the strobe for opticom and you have them in Cali, HUGE fines! and no they don't have to be on ...

But they could come in handy for a volunteer fire-man. Tried to talk my friend into getting them on his Titan since he is a VF but he said no.
Get a video Rybo, I would love to see how it look's!

Honestly a video doesn't do them justice, but I'll try and get one up for you guys...I broke two of the bulbs on install and I didn't even notice...and each bulb is $75 for replacement...also i wouldn't reccomend the kit unless you're planning on doing it for a real purpose...the wire it comes with is about 3 ft too short 9lots of time consuming splicing/heatshrinking, b!tch of an install (took me 10+ hours after breaking stuff/ blowing fuses) and those bulbs are really fragile...but other than that its easy and they're bright as hell hahaha...

Oh no its way worse than the train horn...if i was going down the street and I flipped em on, and a cop saw me...depending on his/her mood, could be immitating a police officer...I don't get a slap on the wrist for that one...and I turn 18 in less than a week...so I'm being extra careful around everything...but I do believe there's loopholes in the laws, such as if you're in a private lot you could have them on to show em off or whatnot, and I wonder if in an emergency I could have them flipped on? I dunno I'll ask an officer about it when I'm no where near my truck =)

Hahaha maybe I could pull something like that off...get a big fire station seal on the truck or something...oh wait more illegal things lol...
As I was saying... In California last year they passed a law that, if you are in position of (not even using) strobes that will control signal lights (Opticom) You in da big DO DO! I helped to install a couple systems and needed permits (over 10 years ago) just to have a hand held test unit.
Nuff said, I had something like what you have when I was 18-21 (A long time ago)... Enjoy it but I don't want to read how you are posting from behind bars...

What do you mean by signal lights? As in signal lights is a wierd way of saying indicator light housings? or actual light signals at an intersection?
And how would the company get away with selling these? I didn't notice a single warning of law breaking or nothing...

Man! California is like the most fascist state ever... I don't know how you people live there.
