It makes it hard to clip your toe nails in the dark.
You're just not trying hard enough. With enough flexibility you can get your foot (either one, use cruise control!) up on the dash and then you can use the overhead lights. Just don't let the clippings shoot down the defroster vent. You'll never get them out of there.

I added a 10" strip of blue LED's to the underside of the dash on the pass. and drivers sides to light up the foot area

I thought that the lights overhead in addition to the light ON THE DOOR provide a nice level of lighting to safely enter and exit the vehicle in the dark...
so the leg wells are a bit dark.... i was really impressed with the rest of the interior lights.
i guess since i went from an 83 ford to my 08 titan i didn't know i should have them.
why do you need them? who wants to see their feet while they drive?

You'll LOVE the FJ Cruiser then. There's just a single Dome Light in the center of the roof. No Map Lights, no Passenger Vanity Light, just a single dome.
So, who really paid $40k for their truck??? I drive the most expensive 2005 non-commercial Nissan Vehicle made that had a $46k MSRP and even I paid only around $30k brand new.
Man, I love this thread........what a beating! HAHAHA Yeah, when I bought my truck in 04.......I couldn't talk them down much off the sticker. Roughly $38,000 BUT at least I have lighting for my feet.
The Following User Says Thank You to lanespd200 For This Useful Post:
Wow you guys are unfu**ing believable. “Buy a Dodge, get a flashlight, you paid 40,000 on a truck”. I just can't imagine a vehicle that stickers for $38,000+ (and no I didn't pay that and yes I rounded it up to $40,000) does not have lights down there. Are you all so in love with your Titan that you can't handle someone saying one little thing wrong with a Titan? I really, really, really like my Titan but come on. In hind sight I guess there is no vehicle made that is “perfect”. Again...Wow! You all have a wonderfull weekend.
you have a point i guess...i have never needed it..but sure...but i do agree with the others..
1. buy a flashlight
2. buy a dodge
3. vacum in the day
4. install your own lights on the truck....
nissan isn't the only one...
i had a 06 escalade EXT w/o the tailgate assist...the tailgate weighed a bazzillion pounds and you would think they would make it standard...but no....nice going GM
