aftermarket sunroof??

i have an 05 titan, with a dvd player, sunglasses holder, compass,etc on the overhead console in the truck?? is it possible to get a sunroof installed, or has anyone had it done and what kind of trouble, if any, did they run into........i'm mainly worried about the wires for the dvd player..

any input would be great

Im interested as well the same thought has crossed my mind, actually I talked with a dealer and they told me it could be done. But I would like to know if it ha been done?

I got an aftermarket Sunroof installed a week after I bought my truck in 06 up in Phoenix and hadn't had any problems with it since. I don't have the DVD player mind you, but I seriously doubt they would have a problem rerouting the wiring. Dealer charged me $850.

That soundss like a good deal, I have several qoutes all about 1200.00 of course for what its worth they all claim a lifetime warranty?

i've looked into a panoramic style sunroof, thats the double sized glass but only half opens. they quoted 1300 installed. this was around oct last year.

Check out the webasto sunroof, rcantu had one on his titan but I believe you would need a crew cab to fit the model he had.

That looks awesome, too bad Ive got the overhead counsel that goes all the way back, with the radio controls for the rear pass. Wanted a sunroof BAD when i first got the truck, all my cars have had a sunroof except the fronty i had before the T... Love haveing the overhead storage, but might have to look into this to see what they could do for me to keep the overhead storage and have a sunroof?

Hmmmmmmm, I have the overhead console with rear audio as well but I never use it so I wouldn't miss it. This is definitely something I'd be interested in as well, details details!
