power seat issue

I've got this issue on both of my 05 titans, The driver side power seats move forward on their own. I think it's just the return spring, but nissan wants stupid money to fix the prob. Anyone else got a good cheap fix?

Re: power seat issue

Yeah, easy fix is just get under there and unplug the harness. Seriously, how often do you need to adjust your seat?

Re: power seat issue

I've owned my 2008.5 titan for almost a month now and thought i was crazy... when i get in and recline the seat back a little...

...the next time i get in it is back to fully upright....

Seems like if it were "a feature" its one that I can't make sense of who would want it.

It is probably the inside of your left thigh. Believe it. Take note of how you get into the truck. It happens to me periodically also. I have to yet install the mod (extra switch to disconnect power until I need to adjust the seat), but I will get around to it.

Re: power seat issue

^^^x2 i noticed that I made the seat tilt forward when getting in and out. I asked my dealership about it and they said there was nothing wrong and to watch for that. and sure enough they were right...

Re: power seat issue

Does anyone know how to manually adjust the recliner for the drivers side seat? The one on my 04 took a dump on me and the dealer wants $1000 bucks to fix!! Any help would be great!
