who has their windshield tinted ?
not just the strip, but the whole thing ? I wanna know whats too dark and whats not dark enough.. I will be using the highest quality tint I can find. Ive been reading online that 50% is too little and 30% is too much and 20% is perfect to some and too much to others... I looked at many many pics of the 20% and I like the way it looks, you cant see through the outside but its not dark at all on the inside...
anyways ya I know its illegal.. Im ready for the ticket if I get one because Im asking for it... but I Really think it would set the truck off with it tinted... already have limo all the way around on top of 15%.... as for night driving the front is not bad at all... the rear view is pretty useless unless I have the windows down... which is what I do most the time... so anyways.. to the people who have this on their titan, whats the perfect %... and if youve had this on prior rides... tell me how it was... thanks !

I wouldn't recomend it. Makes for un-safe driving at night time. You get tinted windsheild and hit someone or their car (and kill someone in the process), you will find yourself in a whole mess of trouble ontop of the accident itself.

I have 35% on mine and it is nice, helps keep it cool and cuts down on UV levels.

Ready for the ticket? Well, you'd better be ready for the ticket and the removal of the tint... Most will give you a "fixit ticket". You have to remove the tint and then take it to the police station for them to verify it has been removed. If you don't, it's a BIGTIME fine... You'd better have pretty deep pockets......
P.S. Don't do it... You will most likely be sorry... for many reasons.

in florida its everywhere! I have 5% all around with a 5% strip and 50% on the whole windshield. Thats the best i have found. had it done 3 times cause the rest were too dark.

Most states allow you to tint the front windshield down to the mirror post, on my jeep I did it about ½” below the bottom of the post to have a clean look. On my Titan I opted not to tint the front windshield because I’m tall and the way I sit my eyes would have been in line with the transition of the tint and clear windshield.

My friend has 5% tint on all his windows with 35% on the windshield and it's perfect IMO. It's not too dark to drive at night, in fact it actually makes night time driving easier because it doesn't blind you when you pass someone on a 2 lane road.

actually with the tint i have it makes it hard to see because my alpine headunit is so bright i cant see out. and god forbid if i have my iphone out.

I have stock tint on the back, 15% on the fronts and nothing on the windshield and in certain conditions I find it hard to see. I can't imagine having the windshield tinted.

well, cant really find anyone who wants to do it but I will search a little longer, also BB, this isnt PA man, I see cars with tinted windshields alot, my friend has 5% on his white acura tl for 2 years and no ticket... I am almost positive its the same ticket as you would get for having your windows too dark... I dont do much night driving anyways. I want it done but not to where it is crappy to drive.
peyton, how much can you see through the windshield in daylight ?

My friends got 30 across his front windshield and like some crazy layered combo on the rest of the windows something like 3 percent. This is on his 350z the front is fine to see out of but the sides are basically pointless as windows might as well have painted them blue
