Electric Box - Plz quick answers

I appologize for not doin a search, but i need a quick direct answer.

When you remove the center portion of the bench seat a small cheap cup holder is revealed. Under that there is a small electronic box.

I need to know what it is, what it does and can it be relocated?

Thanks for your help!

Mike

I'm pretty sure it's for the air bags.

It is the air bag control module. Disconnect the battery for 15-20 minutes before you try to remove it.
