started to do the power mirrors mod on my 07 xe crew cab. have the details from club titan web site just wondering if anyone that has done this mod can help me with ANY extra information that can be of help on makeing this task some what faster and easy.. any information would help.. thanks...
are you switching from big tows to non tow mirrors? , I don't think your going to have any luck getting powered mirrors for your xe unless your an expert at wiring with some se/le "powered" mirrors as the harnesses for the higher end mirrors are specific for their functions. can you be more specific.
I did the swap from big tow to non tow mirror, I have an LE and I had to get LE mirrors for the harness to work. se to se mirrors , you cannot use LE mirrors if your and se, xe, the harness will not work unless they are the same trim.

I've done the mod on my 06 XE offroad package. I wanted the big tow mirrors, so I bought the SE non folding w/heat. I bought the drivers and front passenger SE wire harness, new power window switch, bezel and went to Pep Boys for the connectors to make the power wire harness from the fuse box to the new wire harneses in the doors. this is a easy mod and now I had power big tow mirrors too. There is three differnet wire harness for the SE and LE. The Le with non tow mirrors have a different connector due to the folding feature. Make sure you order the right harness for the SE. The door panels are easy to remove, three or four screw if I remember correctly. The mod took me about a day to do including making the power wires from the fuse box. If you need more help I can call you here from Afghanistan, pm me your phone # if you want. Also having the Titan service manual helps out too. If you dont have on I suggest buying one from Ebay. I just bought the 08 Titan service manual and still have my 04-06 manual.

You can for sure put some le mirrors on an se or even a xe. I have a set on my se and everything works just like it would on an le, folding, signals, heated, dimming, puddle lamps and the normal up, down, left and right. It was by no means fun but possible. If anyone is wanting to attempt this send me a private message I will give you the pinout on the mirror harness.
