Hood Protection?

What is everyone using to protect their hood? Is there an aftermarket bug shield out yet?

Also, any ideas on how to protect the chromed plastic on the front?

And lastly, my old Ranger had fog lights that were quickly busted due to stones being thrown up on the highway. How can I avoid this with my Titan? Any kind of shield made for them?

Thanks!

Anyone know if the Nissan OEM hood protector requires drilling into the hood? Or does it connect under the hood?

NissanPartsPeople.com has it for $59.50.

By looking at that picture it appears to have some screws so It's probably safe to assume you'll have to screw into your hood...

There are clips which attatch to the hood and you fasten the hood protector to these clips using the screws. You do not drill the hood!

Does anyone have one of these mounted yet? I hear horror stories about these (on other vehicles) changing the airflow so that the windshield spray will not work at road speed.
