here is my lifted titan!

hey guys i just got my titan back from the shop,
they installed the daystar 2 1/2 inch kit for the front, it rides perfect!!!
remember the stock ride kinda soft, well the daystar makes the ride a little stiffer than normal, and height is pefect....I have installed 265x70r17 on 17x8 centerline wheels, which is 32 inch tires, it looks awesome!
all im waiting for is my pre-ordered gaylord tonneau cover and mytitan will be complete.
oh by the way, whoever posted the OEM alignment specs, Thanks!! I will buy u a beer at the laughlin run!
OH YEAH!

looks nice, I want to do the same thing. How much was the kit, after installation. Did the bigger tires affect your speedo

You had your front side windows tinted, right? That looks good, also.

price

the kit was $129.00, install will run between $150 to $250 which includes alignment. well the speedo didnt change much since the stock tires were 31" inch tires, the 265x70r17 tires were only 1"inch difference, 32"inch tires....i didnt want to go any bigger because loss of power.

Truck looks great! Now to my self indulgent questions. Do you have the vehicle stability system, ya know the traction control? Just curious because I read in the manual not to lift those vehicles? Where did you get the alignment?

Thanks

What is the model/name of the rims? Very nice looking setup. Is it 2wd or 4wd?

hello mytitan,

just curious as to how everything is now that it has been about a month. have you read the thread where "1badtitan" had blown overextended struts due to the daystar spacers. so i've been holding off from installing them because of that reason. i hope you haven't had similar problems. any klunking noise or other mystery noises, leaks, or alignment problems. please advise. thanks
