kc front seats rattle

anyone get this? after someone sits in my passenger seat i get a bad rattle from the base. the base was replaced and it still came back again. wondering if anyone has found a way to get rid of this???????

I heard someone tried raising the headrest up one notch and made less noise...I don't know how that would work, but its worth a shot.

mine does this aswell... dealer supposedly "fixed" the problem but it just keeps coming back. not sure where it comes from, i just turn up the bass when i dont want to hear it lol

me too ha.. like i said they replaced the base on mine . but the new one does the same $h!t. i personally think it is where the actual seat mounts to the metal sliding base. but not completely sure.

Don't know if the seat is the same, but passenger seat rattle on
my Titan was caused by loose screws.

Mine has been doing that since the day I bought it. Everytime I took it to the dealer to fix it.. It ends up coming back.. So what I did was Unbolted the seat from the body.. Lubricated the bolts with white lithium grease and it went away. I have a big newphew he's 6 foot and weighs like 360 pounds and after he sits in my seat it starts to F@#kin squeek He's not aloud to sit in the front seat anymore.

That's definitely one way to fix it. Reminds me of a buddy that had a 69 Camaro in high school. My ears are very sensitive so I hear high pitch noises really easy and I'd point one out to him when we were driving. He'd reach over turn the radio up and say "problem fixed". LOL

k guys it aint the place were its mounted or what ever is being discuss. if you guys notice their is tap on the right upper corner if you pull it the seat will go flat on to a table and the part that folds over is the cause of the squeak if you fold it and drive or shake it. it wont squeak once you put it back to normal shake it and it will still squeak so the problem is the part that make the seat fold. lubricate that part.

Does this include Models that dont have the option to fold the Front Passenger seat into a small table? I have an XE and i dont have that option

Just bought a new 2009 Titan SE 4X4 and following is my note (paraphrased) to the store manager. Do any of you with 'rattling' seats have this particular problem?
It seems that no matter which tire is on which wheel put where on the truck, and with force balancing, there is an extremely annoying oscillatory vibration in the front passenger seat at 68-70 mph. This is the same thing the manager at Goodyear Tires told me after 4 hours of switching wheels/tires/balancing and test driving when I took it there as a result of your service department telling me to. This visit, your service department replaced my wheels/tires with 4 off of another new truck on your lot and it still did the same thing upon test driving. They also checked the alignment front/rear and it is on, and I asked them to check the rear diff for shavings and the runout trueness of the drive shaft, which they did, and the rear oil was thick and black, but no shavings, and the drive shaft was within tolerances. They replaced the right front seat, which was rattling during the vibration, and that solved the rattling, but not the vibration; in fact, the vibration seems to be more prominent now that the seat is better anchored. The vibration prevents me from driving in this speed range, and it occurs upon accel or decel through this range, and is still prevelant and can be felt when my wife is sitting in the seat. As I told service, the seat vibration is a symptom of a problem that I am concerned will manifest itself much later in a failure(s), hopefully not a life threatening one.

ill try that but not sure if it my issue. they replaced the seat base and it went a way for a bit but someone sits in the seat and then it comes back. i belive it is in the base but you may be right ill check that out. im not getting a squeak im getting a rattle noise from the base of the seat by the way
