I think i'm the only one that thinks BILLET grilles look stupid and cheap, although they are not cheap bye any means. to each his own i guess...

BILLET grilles remind me of when i'm stepping onto the escalator at the mall.

Yeah, that's it that's what they should call it! the "billet ESCALATOR grille"

LOL Pro...

Personally I am not much into them either...I think the only 'part' I want to cover on my frontend is the lower area. If I could just get that piece, I would probably paint or powdercoat it 'Smoke'.

I like the billet grilles but i wouldn't take off the whole plastic or chrome front end of the truck and just make it a huge billet. It should just cover the mesh grille part. You don't want to take away the unique styling of your Titan.

i think on a silver truck it looks very smooth and makes the front look bigger, it would be too much for a deep color imo.

Hello Texas Titan:

Is that your Titan in the photo? I really like this look since the beefy Titan grill is still intact! This is a less radical enhancement that looks better - imo.

I agree with CaliforniaTitan about installing something in the opening at the bottom of the bumper. I would also want it black to match the honeycomb insert of the stock grille. It would be great if we could find an insert with that same honeycomb pattern for the bottom opening. I don't understand why they left such a large opening for rocks or other road debris to fly into possibly damaging something. If I don't find something, I may give in and buy the smaller billet piece for the bumper and paint it black. The other does look kinda cool but I like that bold look the stock grille has.

I may give in and buy some heavy black screen material for a couple of bucks to keep the rocks out of the fan.

My thoughts exactly! Maybe another project for a group buy? Any manufacturer interested?

Years a go when I saw the billet grills on those Ford trucks and I thought they were cool. But like anything else, when you see too many of them now, it becomes ordinary and trendy.

check this OTHER grille

Check the following links to ANOTHER grille. I like the look of this more than the billet look. Its from a company called StreetScenes and they had it on an Armada at this years SEMA show. I don't believe its available to the public yet. The grille comes in brushed aluminum or chrome. I think its pretty sweet and will be keeping my eye out for it!!
