Well my soon to be x-wife decided to let her man freind drive my truck. it came home with mud and beer and who knows what elses all over the interior. it is pretty much ruined and even if it can be cleaned it is tainted as far as I am concerned. so I was wondering what would be the best route to take to go from cloth to leather. it is an 07 xe crew cab. I am affraid of cheap covers as they may not fit well. any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Whaaaaat. The only other dude that would ever drive my truck would be my dad. Not some dude my ex is with. I'd get in his face and make his azz buy all new leather seats and then some. That's not cool for him to do at alll. Hope all works out well for ya!!

Make him / her pay for the new Katzkin leather, I've had them installed for 4 years now hardly any signs of wear. 100 times better than stock leather.

well lets put this back into context, your not going to get any money out of him or her, if it was me i would buy about 4 cans of tuff stuff and clean it real well and go from there. to get leather seats just because some ho's boy toy drove your truck is a bit stupid but you can always ask her to pay for a pro interior cleaning, but because she is your ex wife i wouldn't count on any money. katskinz is the place to go for aftermarket leather, its awesome and of the same awesome quality. its a nice mod that is true, but to make your ex pay for all new seats that can be cleaned with out too much elbow grease is a bit much. get your truck in for some T.L.C. by a pro, interior and exterior and ask her to pay the bill because her boy toy fXXXed up your truck she can pay for the interior and exterior and get him to pay her back, then she can take this as a lesson that you will not be letting her, or any of her friends/toys borrow your truck ever again. I would also get a quote on this first and take it to her and explain the situation to her, be calm and be polite and treat her as a human and the woman you once married and you may get the money for it, but if you want to be a **** you could always insist she pay for leather and not get a dime.

What would be the point of parking YOUR truck on YOUR Corvette, If I was her I wouldnt care lol. Sounds like you need to find all your keys, and move out.

I would find a used set of seats from a junk yard or someone parting out a Titan. Then you would just have to unbolt and swap.

Ouch!!!! I don't know what I'd do, unfortunately I don't have much self-control. That Katzkin is supposed to be good stuff but i wouldn't count on something not happening to it too. A good place to start might be to collect all your spare keys into a ziplock baggie and stick them in the attic underneath the insulation. I'd let her keep the Vette or whatever she's currently driving, otherwise she might decide to start keying cars or something.
