Map light / dome light switch

So the wife went out to the armada the other day.. opend the door and had no interior lights. Stuck the key in and the seat didnt move..

After about a hour i found a blown fues... all was good i thought.. Put a new one in a it died as well. I started looking around and found the map light switch was stuck on and had melted, causing it to blow fuses.... Went to nissan to get the what looks like $.50 cent push switch and they told me its part of the console and that will be $1178.89.. So any of you ran into this problem and how did you fix it.

awsome link but i cant find it on there.... ill post up pictuers of the thingee.

if you take the plastic clear lens down where the light shine out, ( the one you push to turn on the map lights) you can see the (white on the armada) on off switch.... going by that diagram it looks like part number [26432] LENS-MAP LAMP is the clear lens. this swith touches that lens to activate the map light.

Its not a big deal that map the light doesent work but for some reason with out that switch you dont have either front dome light.
