I want to add electric locks and maybe windows
My 08 has manual locks and windows and I want to convert.
Anybody know how hard it would be to convert? Hell, even if I can get the locks to electric that would help. My old fat *** is tired of leaning across the truck to unlock the door.

This is the 1st thing i did to my truck when i got it well my buddy did it...the window button's are under the radio next to the tow mode each side.. it didn't take him that long i just don't know what brand for the power window's he used think it's called american or california not sure oh and for the lock's just get a good alarm

Same thing with me. Put them on my XE. Ordered the SPAL heavy duty window kit. Came with the motors, wiring, switches etc., I put them all on the doors in roughly the same place as the factory switches. It was easy and only took me an afternoon. I have been happy with the SPAL kit.

I am also interested in adding spal power windows! I already got some spal door poppers installed on my truck and they work as good as the day they were hooked up. I've looked all over for the factory window switches and can't seem to find them anywhere because I don't really like the styles that the kit offers. Anyone have any ideas on where I could get the factory window switches without paying an arm and leg for em? thanks

I am also about to do this. I have heard people use A1 Electric (IIRC thats the name) with no issues. I was also looking into the SPAL setup.
