I dun a swimmy! Help!

so i went into the deepest freaking puddle ever. and got stuck. by the time i got towed out, i had water up to the seat cushions inside. everything still works surprisingly .
pulled the seats/center console and removed the carpet (nice and swampy). cleaned and dried the cushion on the driver side (the only one that got a little wet) and cleaned out the shifter in the console, etc. drained water out of the doors, the channels along the floor, and damn near everywhere. truck still runs fine

so here's my question: since i've already got the carpets out, how the heck do i clean the swamp out of them? OR is there a full carpet replacement that's vinyl or rubber or something?

edit: more than anything, i'd like something that i can just hose out like a jeep, yet still covers the whole floor so i'm not getting the tons of road noise and boot to metal contact

like this: Truck Rubber Mats - Rubber and Vinyl Flooring mats molded for most trucks, vans and taxi cabs
It's usually called "molded replacement floor vinyl" and there's also some "TPO" options for Jeeps. The real problem is finding them for late model pickup trucks, because they usually only offer them for older trucks for some reason.

x2 on the truck bed liner idea.

no pics of the action (were a little busy getting the f[Tr]uck out)
will post pics of current state at lunch

as tothe bedliner idea:
i don't really have a space i can do it (live in an appartment) and would also hopefully like to sell the truck eventually, so would rather not go such an irreversible route

Re: I dun a swimmy! Help!

I say get new carpet or bedline the inside. Even if you bedlined the inside couldn't you easily throw carpet back on top if you decide to sell it? As long as you don't cover up any major mounting holes and don't go too thick. Hell I would consider it a selling point, the floor has had sound deadening material applied. ;-)
