Thumbs up New Undercover Tonneau review

Just installed Undercover Classic on my '09 CC SE without Utili-Trac. Got it from 4wheelonline.com. It also came with a decent rubber bed mat and shipping included for a grand total $688.00. Cover came well packaged with no damage. No missing parts. Put it on myself in my driveway in about 45 minutes after figuring out instructions. Cover and mounting parts seem well made, fits well and has gaskets that should keep most water out. It feels strong for its weight. I especially like the way it locks with my locking tailgate. Should keep out the "honest" thief. Even has a small battery powered LED dome light on the underside. Looks good with my white Titan. The black plastic it's made from matches the other black trim well. It also looks like it will go on and off without too much trouble. This is the one without Utili-Trac kit. Don't forget to get that kit if you have that.

IMO this is a good and cheaper choice as compared to a fiberglass/gelcoat cover that costs twice as much. I will post a pic or 2 if I get to it. Now that winter is coming, I am looking forward to keeping all the snow and sh*t out of the bed.

Re: New Undercover Tonneau review

Mine does not rub on my 08 silver LE with utilitrack. I chose the Undercover after reading many reviews on this site and have been very happy with it. The cover is lightweight, low profile and easily removed. While on vacation I drove thru monsoon-like rain for 3 hours with no leaks.

Re: New Undercover Tonneau review

Mine fits well and does not rub either. The gaskets sit on top of the plastic bed rail covers and then I can run my fingers all along the underside edge and it does not touch truck.

Have you tried adjusting the cover?

Re: New Undercover Tonneau review

I just got mine too! About 3 weeks ago. Its worth every dime. I drove in some really nasty rain for about 4 hours and everything stayed dry in the bed. I looked hard and couldn't find so much as a drop of water.

If its rubbing at the tail light you need to shift it a little further back on that side. Losen the shock mount bolt and slide it just a wee bit back. Close the lid and repeat if necessary. If there is a drastic difference from the gap over the driver side tail light vs. the passenger side tail light, the front bracket (Front of the bed) may need to be adjusted as well to square the tonneau to the bed. Mine is a bit close along the driver side bed rail but doesn't rub.
