Ipod integration functionality

I am interested in buying the Nissan ipod kit for my 2006 Titan. I am looking for some info from people who have this. What display do you get in the radio? Like song, and artist, or just a blank ipod logo with no info? What buttons are you using to control the ipod? I am sick of the sound quality from the aux jack, but have seen too many of these interfaces that are low tech and frustrating to use. Thanks for any help.

Re: Ipod integration functionality

I've been on the fence with this one as well. Layer1 has the ipod integration for his 08 and showed it to me at one of our meets. I told him the short comings earlier integration kits had and why i didn't like them only to find out that in the 08's it has greatly improved. I haven't made the transition to an integrated kit yet however since i've already got the blekin tune dock with the build in amplifier.

the sound quality, clarity, and loudness were all much better on his integration kit.

I'll step in, YES. You can set it to show the Artist or Song Title.

The only down side is you can not advance the songs from the steering wheel controls. Just the volume.

Other than that the clarity is really great. Oh yeah, I have the RF system.

^ exactly. I love how good it sounds through the stock system, the only thing that I dont like is not being able to advance from the steering wheel, but oh well, it is only a short reach to change it lol

If you don't mind, what do you think is a pain about it? Probably whatever you don't like about it is what I was afraid of. Thanks.
