Re: Advice on Leveling Kit

Ok i also have a 2WD 05 titan and i went onto ebay and got a NCD Customs leveling kit. its a 1.5 inch spacer that goes onto the top of your strut assembly. its a pretty easy install for one person took bout 2-2.5 hours if youve never done it before

Re: Advice on Leveling Kit

Look into PRG Products, you can call them and Greg will answer any of your ?'s.

Re: Advice on Leveling Kit

I think to level a 05 2wd you will need a 2.5 inch lift in the front. NCD and PRG both make good billet spacers.

PRG costs a little more, but comes with the bump stops and if you need to call someone Greg at PRG is very helpful. PRG's website also has some good info about lifting and leveling Titans.

If you go with NCD you will need to buy the bump stops separate - either from NCD or a local autoparts store..

Either way is good.

Re: Advice on Leveling Kit

48down is spot on. 2.5" will level your 2WD. Pick a good solid billet spacer such as the ones he mentions. Stay away from the ones that add preload, such as the Daystar. That type will blow out your shocks. The spacer type that sits on top, such as PRG and NCD, will not affect the ride of your truck, nor will they cause any issues for you down the road. It's a pretty "safe" mod in that regard. I'll still say it's one of the best bang for the buck mods I've done. Much better stance after install.

Re: Advice on Leveling Kit

PRG or NCD are the way to go. They are both billet aluminum. If you decide to go with NCD, look them up on Ebay. They have them at a "buy it now" price of $75.00 plus shipping right now.

I agree. Once you level your truck you will always look as other Titans and think "nice truck but it needs leveling".

Re: Advice on Leveling Kit

Does installing the leveling kit void any of the warranties? I just bought an 2010 Titan last weekend and already looking at leveling it out.

Re: Advice on Leveling Kit

I went with the NCD 2.5" lift on my 2005 this weekend. I think the ride feels better up front than stock.

Re: Advice on Leveling Kit

For most dealers, no. I try not to say that in a factual, always-the-case way, because I can see some PITA dealer out there trying to blame somthing on a level kit.

Yes. That's all you'd need. And an alignment.

Re: Advice on Leveling Kit

That kit also includes blocks for the rear. 1.5" blocks according to the description, and the U bolts are for their installation. From that one pic, I can't tell if those are solid spacers for the front or not. It's got a reserve on the auction. I wonder how high it's set? Might be better off to save the time and trouble and just pick up an NCD spacer if you're looking for inexpensive.
