Yeti...
Love to see a pic of the RockyMount/Utilitrac mounted. I Have the spring nuts, and can't decide on the Yak blockheads or the Rockymounts. I'm not sure if either will work with my Truxedo cover rails on the sides, or the front of the bed with Truxedo rolled up near the cab. If they stick out far enough from the Utilitrac...it just might work. The local bike shop has the Yaks on order...so I'm waiting to see. I think the Yaks are 2" tall. Are the Rockies the same height?

Thanks!

My bike riding days have mostly past but I like to be able to transport my bike just in case. I was give two extra tract ends when I got my truck so I decided to put them to use.

The bolt is braded on the back so it won't pull through so I used a die to clean up the threads. Then I found out I would have to slide it in the end of the tract and since I wanted to use it on the front rail I had to grind down the the back plate a little to get it into the rail.

Total cost was the price of a cheap generic mount $12

Yeti...thanks for the pics. The Rockies look like they will work with my Truxedo cover. Not sure, but if it's rolled up, it should stick out far enough to miss the tracks. Hopefully, that is the case...or I may have to mount them to the top of my bed divider! I'm giving the bike shop 2 more days to get the Yak Blockheads in...or I'm ordering the Rockies off the net.

I had the Rockies at my door w/in 4 days. The mount itself is 2 inches tall. So mounted on the track it sticks out 2 inches. If that helps at all w/ the decision.

I noticed the Maltese Cross on your window. I then looked at your profile...looks like we have more in common than just bike mounts, and TiTaNs!

This thread is almost 1 year old. I bought my Titan in November and did not need bike mounts untill now. My question is how are the mounts holding up for everyone? Does it stress the utilitrack system (bend the C-channel)? Using this set up will the bikes fit sideways in the bed (bike mount on long side of bed)?

Currently in North Dakota, but previously worked in California, Minnesota and Texas. (Federal) Got a buddy in Panama City at the AFB FD.

I do a lot of camping, and want the bike mounts on the Titan for that reason.

Small world ND, at least in the Panama City connection part. Either way hope the Yak's or the Rockies work for you. If your a patch swapper let me know. I've actually seen ours up on Ebay a time or two. You just don't see many dept's w/ a chick in a bikini on their patch. Can see what it looks like on pcbfire.com It's kind of a work in progress site.

edited: Glad to help out spidy.
