Westin Bull Bar

Can you install a Westin Bull Bar with the front stock skid plate in place? It looks like there's room for both, but it doesn't look like the mounting bracket for the skid plate is compatible with the mount kit for the bull bar.

I was wondering this too. I was also wondering if there was enough clearance room to install a pair of 150w KC daylighters, they are 6 1/2" I think. I have a set of these on a truck I am selling and am trying to decide if I should keep them for the Titan. I am looking at getting the westin bar.

Well, I have my bar installed (chrome) and it looks great, even with no lights. I just couldn't see how the bracket that holds the front end of the skid plate could accomodate both without some modifications.

Word of caution: If you get the chrome bar, you're going to want to get the chrome grille too, so be prepared to spend another couple of hundred bucks on that, like I did 30 minutes ago.

I have it and the plate, It was a little tricky to do. Had to trim out part of the front skid plate where the bar drops down. Kind of a pain since I had to put it on and then take it down a handfull of times to get it right, I didn't want to just cut the front off of the skid plate. I had to try and wiggle it and push it a bit to try and line the bolts in the front back up before I could tighten them. The two screews that hold it up in the back were about a half inch off. I have some self taping ones I was thinking of using to hold it back up but haven't dont it yet. The 4 up front hold it up with out them. The skid plate on the bull bar, I had to unscrew the bottom to alow it to fit over the front skid plate on the truck. With that it sits about an inch away from the original hole so screws don't fit. I keep running things through my mind and looking at it to see if there is a way to put it back up but it's held on by the top and pushed up againts the trucks skid plate. Here are some pics of mine. Give you an idea of how the cut was.

I recently had approx 6" lightforce driving lights installed. The lights mount slightly forward so there is plenty of room for large lights.

Exclamation New Info!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just installed Westin bull bar with 61/2 in. KC lights. Mounted perfectly without any cutting, it took ten minutes. They must have altered the design slightly so that it can be used without any mods. It looks great.

maybe a grill guard

I just installed a onki grill guard, and it was a pain to get the skid plate back on!
the back bolt holes would not line up. so i had to cut a longer slot for the bolts but in the end it was worth it.......it looks great!
