XE Front Bumper Cover

I posted this in the other section but it never got any replies.

I scratched my front bumper corner going out of my parking garage at work. Is there a way to replace the bumper cover? It is scratched right on the corner.

The front bumper covers are easy to change out. The hard part is getting out the headlight so you have access to the 4 mounting bolts. You see my wife is still getting used to driving a big truck and she smacked into another Ford in a parking lot.

I was not amused to say the least, the truck was only 6 weeks old!! and didn't have a mark on it. That's life I suppose, the only way to keep it pristine is not to drive it. There's always some moron that will ding your doors or back into you while you at the movies or something, you know how it is.

The front drivers side bumper cover got damaged a bit so I bought the new bumper cover from the dealer and it was very reasonably priced @ $34. It cost $95 to paint.

You can do it yourself in about 2 hours with a basic set of tools. The new bumper cover comes with all new mounting hardware. The fog light is also easily switched to the new bumper cover.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
