Differential

I am looking for some information on the differentials in the Titan. I know the rear diff is an open diff, but what about the front? Also, how many pinions are in the diff(s)?

The front is open as well. And there is only one pinion gear in every differential, am I understanding your question correctly?

There are usually two pinions in an open differential, some vehicles like the Honda Odyssey have four. The pinion s are the smaller gears between the two side gears that transmit torque to the axle shaft.

I think that you mean "spider gears" ...the Pinion gear is the one that is driven by the driveshaft, and it meshes with the Ring gear. I believe that they are all "open differentials".
You will have "Vehicle Dymanic Control" and/or Active Brake Limited Slip "ABLS" , depending on whether or not you get the E-Locker. If you opt for the "E-locker" option, you will have a locked rear differential in Low Range with the E-locker switch turned on.

Yes, those are spider gears, not pinions, which there is only one of in a differential. Technically they are called pinion gears, but I've only heard of them refered to as spider gears. The input pinion is the one most of us are familiar with (ie Ring and Pinion.) And if you are talking about spider gears, there are usually 4, 2 would not work. But those four spider gears could be labled side gears and pinion gears, in which case you'd have 2 of each.
