Any info on these Tonneaus

I spoke with these people about it, and they said that they designed it specifically to work with the Utili-track. I have 2 problems with this setup. 1. To work with utili-track I would have to drill 2 holes
2. It is shiny hehehe
$889.-

I did not speak with these people yet: $780.50
http://truck-bed-covers.com/RollBak_tonneau_covers.htm
But on their site it says the tonneau would work with some modification...need to find out what that would be. I like the matte finish on these a little better, but I think either one would contrast nicely with my white.

Anyone have experience with either of these.

I want something more secure than a truxedo, but I dont want a hard one since I never know when I will want to bring something bulky home.

Also, anyone know of any WHITE versions of the rollback tonneaus?

Here's a better Rolltop price: $646.20
http://www.tonnocover.com/ordering/o...ds.php#rolltop

I'm thinking of a Peragon cover for $500. 6 week wait.
(BTW, it's black too)
http://www.peragon.com/photos.html
Less $s.
Design should reduce icing up problems in the winter.
Easy to remove.
Folds flat (~6") so does not take up a good bit of bed volume with a canister.
But I will have to remove the upper Utilitrack rails.

I looked at Peragon, but they are not as waterproof as the others, and their solution of "carry a rubbermaid tote" at all times isn't very appealing to me, and the more expensive one above allows the use of the rack.

I have the RollBak. Like it a lot. Very well engineered. Do not see how it could work with utilitrax. They say it works if you flip the rails over.

Totally waterproof, no. You will get a few drips inside the bed during a rainstorm. Not enough to worry about though. I have had 2 rolling covers ( Pace Edwards and Roll Bak) Both leaked a little. I have also had an Undercover (Versacover). It was very weatherproof. Expect to pay 750-800.

Is the RollBAk completely waterproof?

I like the access but can't afford to get somewhere with wet luggage AGAIN

thank

It isnt a submarine, and if you are subject to huge downpours I would venture no, the only place I could really see water getting in is at the top by the cab.

Trikky - Are the Roll Baks easy to install? Would I have to remove the tube rails on top of the bed to put one in?

Honestly, I'm the wrong person to ask about that. I don't think any cover is 100% waterproof, but I believe the Roll Bak is as waterproof as you can get (since I don't have one I dont know). Regarding the rails, my guess is that you may be able to keep them, but would have to modify the tracks that you lay down for the cover itself, which may compromise how sturdy it is, I am not sure.

Orlando Titan-

Your tonneau looks great, very clean. I'm currently in the market for one. I've be wavering between the RollBak and the Pace Edwards. I found an auction on ebay that says the Pace Edwards "Roll Top will take 10" of space" I can't find any info on the Rollbak's. Approximately how much space does it take up?

Thanks,
Nopstar
