A.R.E. Tonneau lid color match

Has anyone added an A.R.E. tonneau lid? Color match?

Yes, Even though white is white, it matches the color. I'm very happy with it.

I got the ARE lid in March. It came in with the corner cracked. ARE didn't replace it but sent it back taking another 3 weeks and poorly repaired it, ( cut off 1/2 inch the corner - had glue dripping off trim - yellow resin bleeding back through the paint). The top didn't fit properly and was binding on the passenger side. I measured it from the hinge back and it was an inch shorter on the passenger side. Paint color was similar but a little different.

I got my money back and now have the Jason tonneau. Good fit and color match, much better latch system and a unique hinge system that lifts the tonneau toward the rear about 2 inches when opening so it allows a tighter fit near the cab. I like the lower height because these trucks sit pretty tall in the back to start with and with ARE raised center you lost more rear vision.

Had my ARE tonneau installed yesterday. The color match is perfect. The remote lock/unlock works great.

Pleased with my ARE II

I got an ARE cover back in February. The color matches perfect and the fit is also very good. It can be installed better or worse depending on the individual doing the work. The "A Team" installer who connected the keyless lock mechanisms made quite a few changes from the work the "B Team" installer did earlier.

I am very happy with the cover and the keyless lock.

I got mine installed 2 weeks ago. The fit is as good as a factory cover would be (if one were made). The cover looks like it was painted with the same paint as the truck was, that's how good the color match is. Mine is Red Brawn, which is a metal flake paint, and they matched it perfectly!!! No complaints at all. I highly recommend it.

ARE Cover

Hey all

Had mine for about 3 months. Fits graeat. The color is just off a little bit. Had a friend look and he agreed. Its not enough that you notice unless you actually sit and really look at it very closely.

thanks

Thanks Crickett,

I had just washed it, then used Meguire's Show Car Glaze, then Meguire's Tech Wax when I took this pic. Long process, but worth it in the long run.

I wash it once a week. I use Turtle Wax Car Wash concentrate (added to water, of course ) and sponge it down. I then dry it with a chamois. I occasionally Armorall the tires, which I had done when I took this pic. If the windows are spotty from warm Texas air drying them too fast, I clean them with a window foam. Between washes, I use a California Duster to dust it off, found at most Auto Parts stores. It works great!!

That's about it. Lots of work, but I like for my Titan to look good.
