If you had just read the rest of the thread, it would have answered your question (several times).
I beg your pardon.
According to my dealer, Nissan USA won't be selling front side airbag, distinct from front passenger and side curtain, compatible front bucket seat covers until late fall or early winter. The front side airbag is INSIDE the seat... any seatcover that would enclose the seat, i.e. the backrest, would retard its' deployment in a "side impact."
The 2004 Nissan Titan Service Manual, Vol. 2, page SRS-7 states:
"Front Side Air Bag
Front side air bag modules are built into the front seatback assemblies. Vehicles with side air bags are equipped with labels as shown."
Seen as though this topic is still on everyone's radar, I don't have the side air bag option but I did order the Nissan seatcovers via Courtesyparts, well they arrived, I put on the passenger side and took it straight off because I wasn't impressed at all with the fit. No problem though Courtesparts were very understanding and the covers are on there way back.
Not a knock against the covers, they may suit some just not me, I guess I'm spoilt a little because I have 'Okoles' on my jeep.
Anyone else not thrilled with the fit of Nissan covers?
First off, rvandam makes a valid point and was trying to help you. It appears you either didn't read all of the posts, or follow the links given. If you had, you would have seen that Courtesy Parts' website does offer the Nissan seat covers for the bucket seats. Also Wet Okole seat covers are mentioned in some of the posts. By using a browser's search engine, their site is worthwhile trip.
*"Wet Okole seat covers are tested for seat airbag compatibility. Wet Okole Hawaii make special seat covers for seat deployed airbag compatibility. Be sure to order the correct seat covers for your make and model vehicle. Wet Okole Hawaii cannot be held responsible if you order the wrong seat covers for your vehicle".
http://wetokole.net/ Here is the url in case it still doesn't work.
I think it works now. When I first posted, it was supposed to go to the specific Titan page, but it didn't work, so I changed it to their home page.
swarren thanks for the info, they are sharp for sure, keep us all posted on how they hold up. The only thing I feel Nissan needs to work on is the quality of the cloth seats.
I've been looking for the solution to this with a good seat cover.

I did read all the posts but not carefully enough. I followed the Courtesy Parts' link but stopped when it seemed to contradict what NissanUSA told my dealer, i.e side airbag compatible bucket seat covers are not yet available from Nissan.
Mea culpa. I did not follow the other link... I wasn't interested in the wetsuit fabric offered by Okole.

Mine came with directions that stated specifically that the passenger seat cover is more loose because it would otherwise affect the working of the air bag sensor. If you had tried the driver side first you would probably have been more impressed with them. I've had mine for a few months now, and love 'em.

Look at my cardomain, there are pictures of my seat covers there. The fit is excelent and are far supierior to wet okole.
EWA, those seat covers look nice. I ordered mine and ready to pick them up today. Do you still like them. I was deciding between OEM and Wet Okole. Wet Okole costs too much.
