Navigation Systems

Ok, I got the LE with a few extras but NOT the nav system because I knew that having routing disabled while driving would drive me nuts since I can reroute in my wife's car while driving. I've heard some of you folks complain about that.
Having done some research now, I'm not sure I can get what I want in an after market system. I don't want something stuck to my dash with velcro yelling "steal me!!" but I don't want to take it out every time I get out, either. I also don't want to trade my 6-cd in-dash stereo for a 1-cd stereo, even if that means the nav system is more secure.

Is there a fully featured nav system out there that might have a less tempting (for a thief) install profile than the Garmins and Magellens (nothing against them, I know they're fine) that will allow me to keep my 6 cd's? Maybe even if I have to buy a changer that mounts in the console? Has anyone installed one? Any pics?
