Nurf Bars

installed nurf bars on my truck last saturday and i am getting a lot of squeeks since i installed them. made sure all the bolts were torqued right. please help i am ready to take them off.

Try any silicon lubricant on the bolts? One of my exhaust mounts was squeeking profusely and the silicon did the trick.

If the bars themselves have no obvious cracks in the welds and everything is solid, I would try some rubber washers wherever contact is made by two pieces of metal.

Rust-Oleum sells a product called Grip & guard its a dipable/ brushable rubber coating, maybe a coat or two on both mating surfaces would help.
I don't think if it was something like a tube fitting over a post it would help but if the rattle or squeek was caused by where it mounts to frame it would probably work.

I had the same thing on my Dodge Ram 1500. It eased up a little in time but every once in a while you would here it. I would try the rubber washers and see what they do.

thanks guys, off to autozone to buy mobil 1 5w-30 oil, going to do my first oil change today if the weather holds up.
