ATS fender flares

Copy of email below. I like these and they are cheaper than Bushwacker.

The Titan Flares are available for the Titan without the tool box. The Titan with tool box should be ready in 2 weeks.

Thank you,
ATS Design

flares

i really want to see a picture of these installed on a titan. im not sure how i like the bushwackers on the titan, but its hard to tell since they always have different wheels on the truck and unpainted flares. I will be anxious to see if they look different. hopefully they will be a somewhat low profile flare so they dont make the wheels offset look wimpy like my old tundra.

I am the same that I'm not sure I like the Bush flare and also having to remove decals because they are so big. I'm hoping these are more like road flares, a little less obvious. The pics on others look good but I want to see it on the Titan. The price is good for painted so if they look good...

Actually the Bushwackers dont look bad and removing and replacing the decals are not difficult to do. I installed mine in less than 1 hours and bought double sided tape and reinstalled the decals no problem. I might opt to go with a little bigger (wider) tire to make them look better but they are ok for now.

I think the Bush is just a little larger than I want on the white. The black seems to fit the Red better to me than on mine. I noticed that the black on my daughters Red LE seems more prominent than on the white. Did you remove the offroad 4x4 sticker also? I see the OR wheel and tires.
BTW that's a cool hitch cover but it's hiding in the shadows. You could paint it RED BRAUN so it will stand out more.

I don't like the Bushwhackers because they are textured. To get them painted would be expensive for all the sanding/filling labor involved and then they would still come out with a wavey uneven paint job.

Those from mytightride.com looked smooth and have the option to get painted for $100 !!! That's a deal on the paint. At a body shop would be between $200-$300 and about a week wait in my area.

I didnt remove the 4x4 sticker, its only a 2 wheel drive. My last 2 nissans were 4 wheel drive and I barely ever used it so decided to just go with the 2 wheel drive this time. Thanks for the idea about painting the hitch cover, I never thought of that, I recently just painted it black, but have noticed that it blends in to well with the hitch itself.
Just for info, the Bushwachers that I have are not textured. They are smooth and should not be a problem to have painted at all.

Nice! Aren't the bushwackers cheaper then the ones I saw on ATS's site?
Another user had installed them and said they were textured so obviously there are two models then. Do you have a picture? Thanks.

DWC5x5, What color are yours?
Of course, the draw back for me is the Bush's only work for the bed-side utility box. I don't have that.

I ordered my bushwackers a few days ago but they havent arrived. I was able to get past the left rear being made for bed side utility, saw a couple pics and it didnt look really out of place. But then I read that this other company has some for the titan without bed side utility...argh! I wonder if Jamie at titanparts will let me return them???

Sure! Just don't open them and ask for a "credit" instead of a refund. You will have to eat the shipping, I am sure.
See if Jamie can get these newer flares for you instead so he is not losing the business. I'm sure he will offer something to help you out.

I would definatly look at getting the painted ones... more of a "street" look that I like. As long as they're genuine nissan paint colors. Especialy the galaxy black. Sparkely!

I have the bushwackers on a truck with no box and they still look good. I like them being big because I have big tires and wheels and they make the offset just right.
