Black Billet Grill??

Was surfing eBay and noticed an auction for a nice looking Black Billet Grill for the Titan/Armada.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ayphotohosting

If my eyes are correct, it looks like a black Chrome finish on the Armada picture that is shown. They even advertise that "black" finishes are available. I sent an email to the seller asking if this Armada picture is shown with the "Black Chrome" finish.

Does anyone have this specific grill in a black finish or another brand that is similar?

autoanything.com sells Carriage Works Billet Grilles in Brushed, Polished, and Black for $129. They don't have a picture of the grill for the Titan and Armada, but it might be what you're looking for. Maybe you can email them.

I might look into it myself.

I feel the same chazz, this beast has enough chrome for my taste. I think the black chrome billet would look fantastic, especially with my Galaxy Black.

Now I would just like to see someone post some high rez pics!

Thanks for clarifying the color. I too was told of a price break for titantalk members but wasn't told how much. That powdercoat sure looks good.

If I remember correctly, he offered me about 15% off of his price on Ebay, and he might give you more off, if you post pics on here...I am not sure what he meant when he told me that, so this could be misleading.
I didn't buy one because I wanted a one piece upper, and he didn't have one.
He claims to have a different mounting system (no tie-wraps), but I am not sure what it is.

hello,

i wish i would've found this thread before i bought my grille. i purchased a grille from mr. grille and much to my surprise it went on with tie straps. my brother in law (the one who was going to install it for me) just laughed it his head off. needless to say it never got installed. i did what others suggested and contacted the ebay seller and he told me that this grille bolts over the existing grille. he promised there wouldn't be any tie straps. i also mentioned this site and he said he'd give me a discount. i was quoted $235 for both upper and lower to my door. i take it that meant he included s/h too. he wasn't too familiar with this site but he said if there were others who wanted the grilles to email him and the price would get better. has anyone dealt with these guys before? socal motorsports. i went to their site www.socalmotorsports.com but the links are messed up. i want to order a set but would like the better price he was talking about. any suggestions???

talk to you all soon.
