Truck Steps

I am looking for the manufacturer of a type of truck step. The step has a bar that runs the length of the cab (almost flush to the cab) and four u-shaped steps for a crew cab. The steps are similar to the Carr hoop steps. I have seen it on a couple of other trucks (not Titans), but can't find it anywhere online. Thanks for your help if you know who makes it or where I can find out more infromation.

i believe they are called nerf steps. i'm looking into these too. so far i have found nfab and genuine steel products inc.

I ordered a set of nerf steps for my crew cab from n-fab about a month ago, they are to be shipped next thursday (6-9-05). price was 514 shipped, with black powdercoat. i guess the new no fear titans will also have these same steps on them. thats what i was told anyways

I am waiting for my order of sliders that are simular to that just with out the U shape steps. They are more of a rock slider. Nitrousenterprises.com is getting them for me. Right now they have them for a Toyota, they said they will have them out soon for the titan.

Still waiting on rock sliders myself. I ask every few months and get the same answer. There are 3-4 companies that supposedly have them "in development"... "coming out soon"... "prototype done"... "just keep checking our website"... ... ...

If anyone does ever bring some into production, I suspect they will have a hard time keeping them in stock. The steps are nice, but will just get in the way and either get ripped off or dented if they come in contact with a rock. We need something beefier that can stand the abuse, that can function as a step if needed, but not stick out and get in the way if it's not needed as a step.

I get the same thing, expect them in a few months. The guys at NE haven't done me wrong yet and The sliders are there, they are expecting them to be out in a couple months and I would be one of the first to get them. I figure I would get on a list before it gets to long.
