Which gun rack?

Where to buy and what gun rack is best for the rear window of a Titan King Cab? I can't wait to get one, this is my first full size truck!

I have also thought about one of the ceiling mounted gun racks too. Any ideas?

I love my Titan.

ONce when I was up going around baltimore, I saw a guy with what looked like an AR15 on a rack in his back window. As I passed him I could see it was a life size decal....wonder where you get those? juma

You're better off not advertising and keeping the weapon secure elsewhere.

I don’t care if someone sees the rifles. Here in AZ it is no big deal. I just want my buddy and I to be able to throw our AR’s up on the rack when we’re out driving in the desert (near the border!).

The under the seat rack is pretty neat, I’m going to check and make sure I have enough clearance under the seat. Dooboy 2112 Have you tried it? The only problem I see with it is it makes it harder to get to the rifles in a pinch.

Did I mention I love my Titan? For the test drive I took (a different) Titan out on the roads/ freeways and smoked every truck I could find.

Save the bucks. It's not like it's a regular cab. One on the back seat out of the gun bag. (yours) One in the bag. If your freind doesn't like it. He can hold his. That's why they call it riding shotgun right? How about that ban being up tomorrow? Hope you don't own a preban.

i didn't know anybody even made a gunrack any more, i haven't seen one in years. One thing about it though, if they can see a gun hanging across your cab they are not going to mess with you!!

I prefer to carry a sidearm for quick access, the rifles would stay stowed--just my preference. If *it* is a threat, *it* will be too close to fumble for a rifle. Some folks could take assault weapons within view as an implied threat and it's contrary to being polite--and politeness will keep you have having to use the weapon to begin with ...Being in Arizona (you, I'm in NV), doing either wouldn't be a problem as it's not frowned on as much as some other places. Oh and to answer your question: check sporting goods stores, I see them all the time around here (even Walmart). http://www.cheaperthandirt.com is a good place as well to look.
