Offroad Pac and Grill Guard

Ok I have the Offroad pac with that front skid plate. now i want to install/buy a grill guard, but i dont want to loose the front skid plate or modify it. I can care less about the tow hooks. Anyone know who or what model would fit the titan without removing or cutting the skid plate?

Thanks in advance

Westin mounts with no drilling or cutting.

The brush guard does, but not the bull bar...and FWIW I like the bull bar 100X better.

Fat Free,

If you look at the "bull bar" threads, you will see that the
guys with the factory skid plates only had to make very
minor adjustments to accommodate the bull bar.

Also, the skid plate that comes with the Westin bull bar
is removable, and some places sell it without it.

Make sure you read all the posts on it, and pay attention
to the discussion on the ones received with dents in them.

I have the bull bar and only had to cut a small curve where the bull bar fits in on the bottom. I had to put it together and take it down to figure out just where I needed to cut but it didn't take long. In the pic you can see the cut.

If you take off your tow hooks, I would love to buy them from you!

dont buy one. waste of money, and they dont do anything. if you hit something with it, it will only cause more damage (grille + bumper).

form without function = waste of money.

Yea your hooks will have to go. No way to keep them on and the bar. I have a truck parts box now in my garage. Hooks, O/R 17 inch rims, stock air intake. I think my wife would have liked Ivan to have taken them away when it came through here. I can’t wait to get the new exhaust to get put on. She will love that!

As for the grill guard I think you will have to cut a little too off the top but I don't think it will be as much or as noticeable. Maybe JesseG could get a close up shot of where the guard goes in and fits over the skid plate. I can't see it on his pic.

I've got a set of Piaa 520 fog lights on my bull bar now.
If I damage something with it, I'll just use some of the
money I saved on my exhaust to repair it.

Hey Titan4X4Aggie Just curious, if you really think Form without function is a waste of money.....how come you are swapping out your grille? Even if its just the cost of shipping? I'm just like everyone else I guess...wasting money on this great truck to make it personalized........Jeff

Here is a picture of my grill guard that I bought from xaccessories.com. I believe it is made by aires. Anyway, it took about a hour to install and the tow hooks are still there.

No there were no modifications to anything to install the grill. It just took some patience and two people. Hopefully, when you say sick looking you mean that you like it. I have had several compliments and I personally think it hides all that crome up front.

FWIW- Warn is making a brushguard for the Titan that will hold what else... A Warn Winch! THis is supposed to be available in early 2005. I think a brushguard ought to be able to support a winch IMO.
