Billet Grill Install

I have just installed a new grill. In doing so I had to remove the Nissan Logo, which was held on by some heavy duty double sided tape. Does anyone know if this tape can be bougth from a parts department. I am not sure if I trust the foam type double sided tape you can get from WalMart.

I bought the heavy duty double sided stuff at Walmart. This was the heavy duty stuff rated for a higher load capacity and it won't come off with any less effort than the factory tape did.

It's 3M tape. I would not use anything other than the 3m doublesided tape. All the other brands like the white/green are not near as strong and you mught loose your emblem. Try to find a Glidden paint place, they usually carry 3M stuff and will probably have it there.

3M and no other

You want the super duty 3M stuff. It is dark gray with a red backing. Same stuff that dash kits stick on with. I stuck on a window mounted CB antenna with it and it hasn't budged. I've also used it to mount a Roady and a PDA mount. Great stuff. It also isn't permanent. You can get it to let go with several methods posted here.

Hardware, Home Improvement, and Discount stores all carry it.
