Maybe someone read it real quick and saw the sick part and thought "it makes me sick just looking at it!"

BassTow,
Sorry man that thing looks tacky as hell! Might I suggest you rip that thing off your front end as soon as possible, take it out to a field, shoot it with a couple of slugs to put it out of its misery, and then pour gas over it and light it on fire! I know it seems cruel but it's the right thing to do.

Looks like someone drove up on someones porch and drove off with the railing after a long night at the bar.

NOPE, Sorry...wouldn't even consider it. It might be even more festive if you could incorporate some built-in lights like down the isle at the movie theater.

Could have been a lawn ornament/ wrought iron sculpture in a previous life.

Should come with a PRINCESS or BAD GIRL sticker for the rear bumper.

You rule!

Needs to cover grill and headlights to be functional. I guess its ok for city bumps and scrapes but one small deer in the grill would kill both.

Some of you guys are great, thanks for the feedback!!! I'll share the valid points some of you made about what you like and dislike about this BUMPER GUARD with the nice folks at OIW. They will make the changes, or even start over, and provide me a revised prototype that they will want to show again. The goal of this post was accomplished and I appreciate the helpful and constructive criticism provided. Hopefully by the end of this project I'll be able to help the users on this site get a product that the general consensus approves of, at a good price. At the same time try and help OIW grow their small business. They are a good group of professional people trying to make it on their own. They have skills and talent to create something that got over a thousand views in 24 hours.

A little disappointing a large percentage of you didn't read both the 1st & 2nd post I made with the materials and construction detail, otherwise the comments about this bumper guard being 'weak' or 'not sturdy' might be valid. No wonder so many of the auto manufacturers blow-off most of the issues (some very legit) brought up on forums, the crap shots made on this General Discussion forum thread don't make me very proud of this site.

Please consider this thread complete. I'll definitely be starting another thread with the legit design from OIW soon, but not on this general forum. Probably visual mods, or something like that. Should be able to bypass some of those trying to compensate for something....

When I voted it felt very much like voting for a really hideous lady on hotornot.com

You know the ones that most people are going to give a 3 or 4 to, but you go ahead and rate her as a 1, (on the 10 scale).

Then after you vote you notice you are the first idiot that has voted, and you don't want the putrid thing killing herself or anything, so you hit "back" and give her a 5, just so you won't have it on your hands.

Well, I felt like that when I voted on this.

I would be interested in seeing how well this product would protect the Titan's front bumper in real life situations. Could you please have OIW gently "bump" a concrete pillar going about 5mph on the corner of the bumper? I would love to see a little video of that. I might even watch that more that the Paris Hilton one.

Also, is this bumper compatible with our AirBag sensors?

it may be strudy, but it doesnt look it. i would rather have less sturdy that looks beefier than solid and skinny. it needs to be tubes or something with some mass, not the rod iron look. if it had mass i would consider it.
