LOL! OK, I fell for it. That was funny. The worst thing is that my speakers were up high enough to scare the crap out of me!!!

In response to the 5mph 45 degree corner impact barrier test request; just let me know when you can make your truck available and we can button 'twisted' up and let 'er rip!!!! (Just kidding) Really you can't be serious, you must work for the Insurance companies, they have been trying to get this type test approved as a new FMVSS for several years now. Auto manufacturers have prevailed so far but eventually it may become law. I'm sure the outcome would be much like the outcome of one of the large manufacturer's 'bumper guards'. Remember this is a bumper guard, not a brush or cattle guard, big difference. Anyway thanks for your comments and I believe everyone (for the most part) will like the improvements OIW is currently making. I'll probably start a new thread in visual mods during the holidays. Merry Christmas & remember Jesus is the reason for the season!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. I guess raskm has to express himself...one way or another. Just wish he wouldn't do it on this site. Don't know what part of the world he's from, but hillbillys from Tennessee don't take 'kindly' to that kind of thing. Now he might like to go camping with a bunch of 'guys' in his neck of the woods, but why do they always have to let the rest of the world know about it (when we would rather watch paint dry)?

raskm, that was funny as h-e-double-hockey-stick (speaking of the Simpsons).
BTW that bumper guard looks like it came from the walmart shelf right above the aluminum "assemble-it-yourself" park-bench ricer wings.

I might be inhaling a little to much second-hand reefer smoke, but what good is a bumper guard that doesn't guard the bumper from anything?
Well looking at the pictures a couple of comments:
Style - Well its not my taste...
Functionality - IF it is supposed to protect the bumper, then why didn't he extend it all the way to the ends? As it is now the endcaps will still take a beating. Also, how about some protection for the grille area and the fog lights? Just a thought.
While I didn't vote in the poll...I would also go with tacky as I said...doesn't 'mesh' well with the front of the truck.
Also, for guys that are garaged challenged like myself - adding something like this or a bull bar etc would mean outside she goes..
Sorry Basstow just a little humor and you asked opinions and I think it would look gay on a 30K truck, most people here live in big cities and probably live in Expensive Neighborhoods, and I don't think it would look very good in New York City, but I do think that would look good on older Ford Broncos. If you look at most Trucks/SUV's today they have $3k chrome wheels and are decked out. People want a nice clean look...and that is not clean. Most manufactures fail the first time and I think you may have something if you listen what people want. Good luck! And the rest of you who thought that was funny...got it off
Toyota boards when I had my 4Runner...Sorry I am just a jokester and felt that would be a good one....

Not my taste, I'm not into the flat angle iron look. I agree with GoatHead it reminded me of something we built in shop class. I think the overall looks of this could be improved simply by using tubular steel.
Remember there is a difference in being on the leading edge and being on the bleeding edge! Hope to see your new design soon, BTW if you happen to have a business relationship with this manufacturer you might want to disclose that sooner rather than later. I would hate for people to dismiss a legitimate idea because they thought someone was trolling.

When you look at the Titan what you see is a vehicle design that is fluid and flowing to the eye. The body panels from grille to tailgate blend together in a way that's classy but tough. Accesories need to fit the charactor of the vehicle. OIW's grille guard does not fit the charactor of the Titan. It has hard edges, bolts protruding, and looks completely out of sinc with the Titan. It might do better on a Jeep or even a Hummer. Also, lose the twisted stock. It looks like a wrought iron gate design. It just adds another uncomplimentary visual effect that distracts the eye and creates confusion.
