I guess I just don't see the function in it. It doesn't flow well with the front of the truck, doesn't offer much protection to the lower grill, upper grill, nor fog lights. Sure it might prevent from scratches of very light impacts to solid objects, but it will only catch into bushes, trees, snags if offroading with it and would not prevent against scratches from the type of impact. For off road racing/playing around it couldn't be used to nerf anyone. It also looks like it would not be adaptable to trucks with the front tow hooks, which I'd hope most offroad truck would have. Perhaps like has been said before use tubing not angle iron and mold it more with the lines of the bumper then add some tabs for mounting aux. lighting. As it stands now it looks like the railing on my grandmas porch with the exception that hers matches the lines of the porch.

Please read back through my follow-up posts in this thread to understand the background and purpose of 'twisted' for OIW and their customers (market test piece).

OIW has responded to what owners want and the 'real deal' front grille guard is going through it's final tweaks, and will be unveiled soon in the following thread. Check it out to see the prototype...

New OIW Titan Front Grille guard (the real deal)!!!

For now, this link can be added to your subscriptions to stay current on OIW developments. Titan talk members have been awesome, OIW tells me they have already sold several of these units to Titantalk members, even before the tooling is final. This thread will probably be closed soon since we are moving on...

He's still in the Stuart Smalley Affirmation recovery center. We beat him down so bad after he posted this that he sulked off, tail between legs, never to return.

Poor little bugger. Are you familiar with Billy Madison when Adam Sandler pulls up in a old firebird cranking out Billy Squire and thinking he was so cool? Thats how this guy felt when he first posted I think. LOL

Oh my!!!! I haven't gone anywhere, just been fishing a lot. I continue to help OIW however I can but the decision was made to shift the focus. Wading through thoughtless and negative shots is a waste of time for me when some folks don't take the time to read back through the thread to know 'twisted' was a marketing test piece, nothing else. It wasn't on my truck for long, but it was sold on this site. Along with another 5 'real deal' grille guards built and sold to users of this site, OIW is thankful for the help that titantalk has provided their business. OIW has some newer stuff and they do custom work to customer specifications. I can hook serious inquiries up if you PM me.
