Exclamation Need Help With Level Kit Install!!!

i have the off road pkg. just installed strut, lifted lower control arm with a jack and pulled down the upper control arm but i have maybe another 3/4 of an inch to tighten it and the upper control arm is hitting the bracket that holds the strut in place. can anyone help??

i have those in hand but they don't say anything about it hiiting the bracket and what to do. thanks

I had a tough time. See Front is done. Rear is next.

Try a small turnbuckle and some wire attaching the upper and lower arms together, and then tighten the turnbuckle to pull the two arms together gradually until you can finally start the ball joint nut.

i have the nut started but the upper control arm is hitting the bracket that the strut mounts into and i don't have the nut tight yet?

put a floor jack under the lower control arm and raise it... it will raise the truck a little but it will also but dont worry about that.

OH YEA!!! You have the OR pkg like me.You have to unbolt the lower sway bar. Thats what I had to do. Its counterbalancing with the weight of the other side.

ok guy's, i have a jack under the lower arm until the truck lifts up, and i have the swaybar off at each side. what in h*ll am i doing wrong??????? i even took the strut out again to try it again and the same thing is happening

If you get the nut started, use an impact to get it tight then set it down...It will settle.

Be careful with a impact, go easy, that nut isn't very thick, and might strip if you go gorilla on the gun....

When you have the frt end aligned, have the shop loosen, then re-tighten the upper arm bushings. This will increase the upper arm bushing life....

spoke with greg today and all is well, i just had to have the other side tire on and the lower arm compressed the strut with no problem. truck looks awesome. thanks again greg.
