powdercoated bull bar

I posted some pics on an unrelated post, and got some interest so i figured I post some new pics now that the truck is somewhat cleaner and let everyone have a look. I dont think anyone else has done it, so here it is.

That looks great. I think the black with a black trenz grille would look great.
Where did you get the bar?

BTW, is all that snow where you live? I can't wait to take my Titan out and play in the snow!!!!!! It's a 4 hour drive for me

I really like it. It reduces the chrome effect of the front of the truck. Do you have the OR package? If so, did it make the bull bar harder to install? I agree that the bed rails would be a nice addition. My spring time projects are the PRG lift and the bed rails but I'd also like to do your bull bar idea. What did it cost to get the bull bar powdercoated?

glad you like it, I have the LE so there was no skid plate for me to work around, just had to remove the tow hooks. I bought the black bar, then powdercoated it which was about 100$ cnd. so it ended up being about the same price as buying the chrome bar.... as for the snow, well, Im all the way up here in Ottawa Canada so we got alot of that. Im playin no matter where i go.

That's a sweet job on the powder coat!! Looks tight as h^ll on your Titan!
I have the chrome front end and OEM step rails, but with a radiant silver paint job, what color would you suggest for the bull bar for my Titan? I like the powder coat, but I also could see how the chrome or black would look nice on my truck, too.

Looks good, scotty. I have always liked the contrast of black with chrome, and it can be done many different ways on this truck.

How do you like the Piaa's? I put the 520's on mine, but haven't updated my sig. I wasn't sure how the blue and yellow tint in them would look with the black and chrome, but in the end I settled on function over looks.

i really like the piaas, the broaden my view of the road quite a bit... the smrs are really nice too, but I'm pretty happy with my choice.

scotty,

like the matching look and the PIAAs. I'm planning to get the 580s and powdercoat the SE wheels....$200.

the bullbar comes either black or chrome from Westin, then you can scan the phone book to fine someone that can powdercoat it a different colour if thats what you want. as for the piaas, i find that the fogs i have really illuminate the periphery a lot more when driving which is key for back roads. especially in areas where there are deer, or even moose that might jump out. I personally though, have never used the piaa driving lights, so I can not really comment except to say that if you want to increase youre field of vision from just driving lights, start with the headlamps.
