Keyless Entry

Hi Everyody, just picked up my Titan over the weekend and I LOVE IT!!
But here's my question: I bought the base model that came with manual locks. The dealer offered to upgrade to Keyless Entry on the spot, which means that they definitely pre-wired it. The entire truck seems pre-wired for upgrades. They had a whole list of crap to add-on right there in the finance office. I normally don't trust dealers as far as I can throw them, so does anyody have any ideas on getting one installed? Aftermarket? Go to the Dealer? Prices?

Any help would be great!

Get what you can from the dealer. It should then be covered by warranty.

I ordered a keyless entry remote off ebay and worked perfect. Mine has power locks though so not sure. But if the dealer offered Im sure it's pre-wired. On ebay the remotes sell for $20 so I thought it was atleast worth the $20 to find out.

Mine was an XE and it worked, as long as it has power locks it should be wired.

I have the Xe w/o power locks and installed them myself. pciley is the one that helped me out on the install. Then I just had the place that installed my alarm wire it to the alarm and haven't had any problems yet. Only spent about $25 on parts.

If you give me your VIN I can look it up & see if your truck came with the keyless control unit.
