From what I've seen, there is some drilling involved. It does work, I've tried it. The one I saw, the bar is not totally hidden. It is inserted into the crease where the tailgate closes into the truck on the left side, then goes down and then across the bottom of the tailgate to the right about 3/4 the way down the tailgate, then is inserted into the tailgate. Sheesh, hard to explain?

EDIT: Yes, it's like the pic show below!

So yeah, I'm interested. Anymore details or a website that we can check out, even if it's for their product on other trucks? I'd like to see what the finished product looks like and what the install procedure is.
Well it's up to 5 pages - I'm in. At $20 it's a no brainer to me.

Pics and Install Instructions

Here is the update!! There is some drilling involved, but it doesn't look bad at all!! According to Hoppy, there is no rattling because the bar has constant pressure. They recommend that you paint the drilled holes before you install the bar to keep from rusting!(Allways a good idea) Anyway, you guys can see for yourselves and decide!! They should be ready to go by March 1st!!

wow, that looks ghetto.

looks like someone took some re-bar, bent it, and wedged it in their tailgate to act as a torsion bar. crappy.

I wonder just how hard it would be to add one like those that come on the '05s?
