Goodyears

Hey guys, this guy on ebay wants to sell his stock Goodyears to me for 200 bucks. he lives near me, so there will be no shipping. He claims they have less than 1,750 miles on them and they are 18''. The price is great so I was wondering if any of you that has the goodyears are having problems? Thanks

P.S> The price of shipping will be be the price of gas, I know

Cool

The tires he has may be perfectly fine and give you many miles of service. Unfortunately, the Goodyears I've owned never lasted nearly as long as other brands I've tried. Maybe it's just their truck tires as I've never tried their passenger car tires. Anyway, I was lucky to get 30K out of them, and that was with them being rotated every 5K and keeping the inflation at recommended levels.

However, for the price you've been offered, if can get 30K out of them it would probably be worth the $200.

I agree, I was expecting my Goodyears to last on the Titan like my Generals did on my Fronty. These tires have 12K on them and it looks like they might make it to 20K, if I'm lucky. I've noticed other Titans with miles on them and their tires look to be on par with the wear on mine. HTH's.

Does Michelin make a 18 tire for the Titan? What other tires are there to go with after the goodyears wear out?
