Infomercial claims

Do you know that little aluminum gadget that you put inline on your intake hose to create a turbine with the incoming air (like a whirlpool)? These informercials have me curious since I use that swirl trick when emptying my carboys (homebrewing), and with the carboys the water gushes out a whole lot faster than the glug, glug, glug... I know water flow out of a hole is different than air, though this turbine thing has me curious.

Has anyone tried one of these mods? Does it really work or is it 'too good to be true'?

Snake oil. These folks have been sued already. If you think a little bit, the swirl action starts out by the filter in the 4 inch inlet. What happens when it reaches the 8 plenums going into each cylinder. I would like to see that demostrated with coke bottles.

haha...i checked out the link. I like the part where the ad says "This is for real!!". How much stronger claim of legitimacy can you get than this! LOL.

Did you ever have someone tell you a story by starting the conversation with "this is no bs..." and you know whatever the story is that follows is exactly that...bs! This ad reminded me of that.

Don't....don't install that junk on your truck. And if you do, pray it doesn't self-destruct and all it's pieces get ingested by your nice 5.6L v-8.
