Need help guys Question about Aries offroad Oval steps
I need some help guys. I found these Aries Offroad Oval Black steps for the Crew Cab. I have a King Cab and Can't find them for the KC. This place has a great price on these and I would like to get them. My question is this. Are the mounting points the same for the CC and the KC's for the steps. Or are the CC's a longer step. I would think it would still be the same especially if the two have the same wheel base. Does anyone know if the wheel base is the same. If you know where I can find these for the KC then I won't even worry about all this I will just get them.
thanks for the help

Did you ever find out the answer to your Aries off road oval step question?? I can't answer the question but I might be able to help.
I have the CC with the Aries O.R. Ovals. If you would like for me to measure the spread between the bolts, or the overall lenth of the tubes or anything, let me know.

BTW: You never put in the place where you saw them or the price. I paid $275 shipped for mine.

I have the Aries Oval in stainless... they are exatly the same as the Crew Cab version. When I recieved them I noticed that the rear step is the same size as the front step. So I called Aries to verify that I didn't receive the crew cab version instead of the King Cab! He told me that they were exactly the same... no difference between the kits! I mounted them with the miserable instructions that they give and they are great. If you buy them a few things to note is that there are 2 different size washers! When you look at them you won't think there is a difference and the instructions make no mention of them. Use the slightly thicker washers to go underneath the Aries steps. The thinner washer goes on the bolts that connect to your truck! This will save you alot of time on the install as the thinner washer will not fit on the bolts that connect the Aries steps. Also, the instructions say that the brackets will be labled and they won't be. The front 2 brackets will be identical but the 3rd bracket that mounts nearest the bed will have its mounting point flipped towards the front of the truck! Once you see them you will now exactly what I am talking about! The instructions are piss, but the install is relativly painless once you get going! They really do look factory and you can't beat the price. I bought mine off of ebay as a previous poster found the link. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...953872512&rd=1
