Thank God, I finally resolved this issue. All lights and blinkers on the trailer are working!!! The trailer lights were not grounded. A problem I didn't have on my previous vehicle. Don't ask why they worked ungrounded on the other vehicle (99 Grand Cherokee), but they did. Now the are grounded and working on my truck.

Now that you have experienced the ordeal or installing an aftermarket hitch. DO you recommend getting a OEM hitch or an after market?

I can get the Hidden hitch at hitchmart.com for $139.00 free shipping. + the OEM addapter for the plug $12.55 and the 7 to 4 pin connector for $10 a grand total of
$160.00 this is assuming that I dont have to buy any relays. I checked my truck SE and I have relay No. 2 in the fuse box under the hood.

I can get the OEM hitch for $220.00 with all the stuff. Which one should I get??

I need it soon...

The hidden hitch is nice and looks as good or better than the oem hitch. If you already have the realy, I'd go with the HH.
