I was looking a few weeks ago at the Snugtop Supersport, Leer XQ and ARE Z series. They seem to have a lot of things in common. Neither the Supersport nor the XQ is listed on their websites but they are available. The Supersport has a very rounded pop out window which to me looked out of place with the hard lines of the Titan and I didn't like the t-handle cover which looked like it would eventually break off. The Z series has a couple of more options than the XQ including a rear window wiper. I ended up ordering the XQ because I prefer not to have the basetrim that the Z series have. My old Hardbody had a basetrim and I always thought the transition from the cap to bed would look smoother without it. ARE does say that it helps to protect the edge of the fiberglass. Prices I was quoted were all within $100 of each other.

Hello, I have been lurking here for awhile and just purchased my truck last Sat., I did extensive research on canopies and ended up ordering the Snugtop Supersport. I really like the workmanship and the materials that they use, the top really creates a seamless match between the bed and canopy. I have owned Leer in the past and had nothing but trouble with them. I am sure they have improved their product over the last few years but I was ready to try something new. They have a great shot of a CC on their website sporting the SS! http://www.snugtop.com/p_supersport.htm They have also just relased the "XV" model last week.

I have the Z series and it looks great. I've got the electronic lock hooked up to my keyfob, and have nothing but good things to say about the shell. If you have utilitrac, the Z series is great because it allows the utilitrac to function normally. I'm able to use my bed extender with utilitrac, store it in the front of the bed and then pull it to the rear whenever.

I just ordered my ARE Z series truck cap. It should be here by the end of next week. We have a dealer just down the road and that was really the reason to go with ARE for me. Besides, there is a Sportsman, RV, and Boat show going on and I was able to get free install and three additional options free.

I will post pics when I have it installed.

Should be in a week or so.

I have an ARE Z with the electric lock & I like that feature. I'm going to put PCILEY's electronic lock mod on the tailgate when I get the time.

I'm also looking at the 100R & the Z-Series. If you go with the headliner, dropdown sliding window and framed sliding side windows they are about the same price (I've been getting Quotes of about $1400-$1500). As mtbendo mentioned I also don't like the basetrim but overall I prefer the look of the Z-series, the rear window is much cleaner on the Z-series, plus you can add several more options like keyless entry and frameless windows (of course that starts bringing the price up).
Anyway I'm rambling at this point I'm definatley leaning twards the Z-series it seems to be a nice combination of price and quality.

Truck cap

I have the ARE Z series. Like it a lot...
1. It's light and easy to take off.
2. Exact fit.
3. It was less expensive than the Leer I looked at.

The Leer 100r is a good fit and finish. I get compliments on it all the time.

"Z" Series For Silver Crewcab

I love it. Can't say I've owned any others to compare though.

Leer XQ on Galaxy CC

Leer XQ on a Black CC. Model wise, it's the most comparable to the Z series.
