Cigarette Lighter

My new Titan came with a few Cigarette Lighter Adaptors, but without any lighters. I tried two different after-market lighters (long and short) but they don’t work with any of the sockets.

The dealer can get a “Smokers Kit” for $28 that includes an ashtray but they are not sure what else… seems too much for a lighter and an ashtray .

Anyone out there was able to find a lighter that does work with either socket in the middle panel?

Thanks in advance

$17.29 plus shipping lighter + ashtray maybe your dealer will price match

its part of the liberal anti smoking, anti guns, anti wearing of fur, PETA, greenpeace, rosie o' donnel, gay right's, soccer moms in mini vans crap.

dont spend the $28 on the "Smokers Kit" just by a zippo, and fluid

the last 2 new trucks i bought didnt have a lighter button in them either.

man, I agree with imjustdamngood, don't smoke in your truck, why make such a fine piece of "machinery" smell like sh*t! Don't make sense to me, but that's coming from a non-smoker. I guess if you'll smoke up your house, who cares about your truck huh?

In the Politically Correct time we live in the cigarette lighter has been replaced by the power adapter, the same way Winston Cup is now Nextel Cup.
All you drinkers should remember this when it comes time to vote. Ted Kennedy does serve a purpose after all.

Anyway to answer your question my Titan travels so fast that I just roll my window down and light mine on the door.

Others around here stop, get out, and light up on the front brake rotor.

Thanks for the heads up.I've been going to a lot of trouble stoping,
getting out and lighting up off the rear diff cover.

I don't think any vehicles come with a lighter anymore. However with some you can add the smokers option. I don't smoke but i ordered the lighter kit from courtesy parts. I just don't like to see dummy plugs in my vehicles.

Why are you so eager to smoke the tires on your new Titan anyway?

A Chevy cigarette lighter works on the far right plug. I know, I smoke in mine....It's the one freakin' place left in this world where I CAN smoke.

Oh, the lighter came out of a Trailblazer.

Thanks again
