Thanks Sammy & Goathead, good advice, I'm a rookie at forums and not afraid to admit it!! The negativity and slander is annoying to say the least. Using GOD's name in any other context than one of total respect and love for others is something that we will all have to answer for one day....guess that's why it's easy for me to get upset. I've always tried to keep an even keel so forgive me if I stepped out of line.

Both of you are heading for trouble. I strongly recommend you both stop this back and forth immediately. Please grow up.

I'm cool with anyone's opinion, otherwise I wouldn't post a reply or start a thread. If you like something or don't like it's fine by me. I post to try and help, others post for other reasons. Private messages and e-mails are proof enough that certain members are interested in the product this thread was started about. If you aren't it's no skin off my nose. Good, bad, and ugly is what you get when you post. It doesn't help this forum (or any other) when a member decides to run roughshod however, it really scares lots of folks from sharing great ideas, thoughts, and products that "might" help someone else out or help them get exactly what they want. I'm not wanting or trying to be rude, just an opinion.

One of the great things about this site is that I can add people to my buddy list, or my ignore list. The ignore list allows you to see that person posted something on a thread, but doesn't show anything else regarding what they have to share in their post. If I decide to post a stance against something like profanity or something else objectionable on this site I will, so that I can share funny or interesting stuff with my family if I like without worrying about exposing them to something over the top. Those members that "don't care" and show it, well that's the beauty of the ignore list...

I'm off my stump now, can we get back to brush and grille guards and why we like them???

Basstow,
I have seen your earlier posts on this grille/brush guard but I don't think I ever commented. This latest version, while a vast improvement over the original (no offense but it was horrible) is close but it still seems to be missing something. I can't quite put my finger on it. It just seems a little to sparse..if that makes any sense. The part around the headlights is where it seems to be missing something. Not sure what else to say here so I'll shutup.

DCtitan, as a Christian I can see where your message could have offended Basstow. I don't want to start anything here so I will not try to force my religion on you since you have made it clear that you don't want it to be. Just please remember to try and respect mine as well and we will all get along fine. Just keep in mind that is not just a belief to me. It is who I am. You don't have to believe or agree with that. All I ask is that you respect it, and we will respect you.

No problem DCTitan. After i posted before, I literally said "Oh Crap" to myself because I thought I might have just started something when I really had no intention to. To each his/her own. I'm just glad we all have the freedom to come in here and express our opinions on all of this stuff. What a great place this is!

Has anyone really, Really, seen a front end guard that enhances the look of the Titan?

I really don't think that with it's lines, there is. (Not that I've seen.)
They all seem to be a compromise.

as good looking as the titan is it is hard to make it look any better. Idont think there is much made for the titan to put on it to make it look any better then it is all my mods have been out of necessity (well except for the sirius that was just for my ears) although i will say that the sirius addon looks like a peice of JUNK in the titan but yeah I woutldnt buy anything for the titan I bought it becuase I liked its looks and what was under the hood so I dont plan to change it at all the truck is just BEAUTIFAL

Now that I think about it, you're right Squid. I like the idea of a guard for the front end but I haven't really seen one yet that I'd be willing to shell out that much cash for. Too bad, if somebody could get it right, they could really rake in some cash. Actually , the one this thread was originally about is just about as good as any of the others. With a little more work, they might be able to hook some folks. I would suggest tweaking it a little more and then showing a chrome version, as well as the black one, on the forum and get some more opinions. While I'm not sure which one I'd like better, I bet you'd get a better response if there was a chrome version for people to look at also. Just a suggestion.

I felt the same way and sent him a PM stating so when the Crap started to fly.
At least it has some of the lines that the front end of this truck has. Like the very pronounced V. That's what a bar needs to do for this truck, mimic the front end lines.

This is the link for a second look.

Check this out!!! New OIW Titan Grille/Headlight Guard
